Choosing the piercing location for your pierced labia

While genital piercing for pleasure and aesthetic value is a
relatively recent phenomenon in American society, the pierced labia
has been around for centuries. Matched piercings on the right and
left labia minora or majora could be linked together with body
jewelry in order to ensure a woman’s virginity or fidelity.
Nowadays, labia piercings are more for sexual enhancement and for
an appealing appearance. However, the term “labia piercings”
includes two different procedures, varying in location, ease of
piercing, and healing.
Chastity piercings were often placed on the outer labia. Today,
it is less common for a woman to choose her labia piercing to be on
the outer labia because the skin is thicker and healing is more
difficult. The jewelry is rejected with higher frequency than inner
labia piercings. Compounding the healing process is the presence of
sweat and tight clothing. Follow aftercare instructions with care
and vigilance.
Inner labia piercings, done on the labia minora, are more common.
The skin is thin in this area, so getting pierced isn’t as painful
as it is on the outer labia. The tissue is also stretchier, so it
can withstand multiple piercings. One is more likely to receive
sexual stimulation from a pierced inner labia than a pierced outer
labia.
Inner labia piercings heal in one month to a month and a half,
while outer labia piercings take between two and three months to
heal. After the healing process is complete, you can adorn your new
piercing with the jewelry you find most pleasurable.
