Try a labret talon for an intimidating look

You have your labret, and you enjoy the look of your labret
studs, but that’s not what you really want, is it? You want a labret
talon for that really wicked look. There are plenty of styles of
labret talon available, but there are a few things to consider when
you move up to this more extreme, intimidating style.
Because of the size of a talon, it will naturally by heavier than
other styles of labret jewelry, so keep this in mind. Don’t begin
wearing a labret talon, especially a heavier weight one, until your
piercing is completely healed. Make sure you take into consideration
the way it will pull against the piercing as well. You may find this
uncomfortable at first, and you should make sure that the disc on
the inside of the lip fastens securely and won’t rub too much. Once
you’re comfortable with the fit of a talon and you know you can
adjust to the larger size, there are innumerable options.
A labret talon generally curves down over the curve of the chin,
rather like a claw, to a point. Some are notched along their length
while others are smooth. There are also some that curve in, and then
back out below the chin, making a sinuous “S” curve. Just about any
labret talon will be made of either stainless steel or titanium,
adding to the intimidating appearance.
