Pictures of body piercings provide a real-life look at different types of piercings

When you are considering getting something pierced, it’s helpful
to look at pictures of body piercings on the web to see what someone
with your body type looks like with the piercing. Alternately, with
some of the rarer piercings out there, such as certain ones done to
the genitalia, a picture can help you determine exactly where the
jewelry is inserted. A definition is great, but pictures make things
more clear.
There are lots of great resources on the web for finding pictures
of piercings. Some even show the piercing process, which can help
you determine if you are of strong enough constitution to get one
done. The Body
Modification Ezine (BME) is one such resource. BME has pictures
of all kinds of piercings, and even piercings gone wrong. Such a
website arms you with information.
While BME has a lot of great photos, not all of their galleries
are available for free. Tribalectic is another good place to look at images. People with
piercings send in pictures, and they have galleries for piercings
all over the body. They are all free, and some users send in
pictures of one piercing from multiple angles to give you a really
good idea of what it looks like.
Or, check out
PierceIt. Like BME and Tribalectic, they have an
easy-to-navigate site organized by piercing. Images are
user-submitted, and the gentleman who runs the site also shows off
his. There’s a warning before you click on pictures of genital
piercings, so young people looking at navel or tongue piercings
aren’t bombarded with inappropriate images.
There are plenty of great photos of piercings on the web to help
you find just the right body piercing for you.
