Proper eyebrow jewelry is matter of opinion

Eyebrow piercings are the most common type of surface piercing
performed, so eyebrow jewelry is a frequently purchased item for
body modifiers. Yet there’s no real agreement on what is the best
choice for eyebrow jewelry despite the increasing popularity of this
procedure.
Because the eyebrow area is a site prone to migration or
rejection, it is important to choose jewelry that won’t work against
you, so some choices are obviously better than others. You don’t
want to wear eyebrow jewelry that is too heavy, or gravity will pull
it away from the face and encourage migration or tearing. But after
that, things seem to be up for grabs.
Some piercers advocate the captive bead ring or horseshoe ring as
the best possible eyebrow jewelry because the curve causes less pull
against the skin. Others will suggest that a curved or straight
barbell is much less likely to catch on something and tear out
accidentally. Both types of eyebrow jewelry have plusses and
minuses, so it’s difficult to say what will work best.
One exception is the horizontal eyebrow piercing, which is much
less common than a vertical or slanted piercing. If you are getting
a horizontal surface piercing, a straight barbell will probably be
your best bet since it will pull less against the skin. The other
eyebrow jewelry option would be a custom surface barbell, which is
pricier but definitely an option that ups your chance of a clean,
successful healing with no migration or rejection.
