Nipple jewelry isn’t just for women

There’s been so much talk about nipple jewelry since Janet
Jackson’s display of her nipple hardware before millions of people
at a recent Super Bowl half time show that many people have
forgotten how popular nipple jewelry is for men.
Plenty of women wear barbells and rings along with nipple
shields, but there are lots of men who wear nipple jewelry, too.
In
fact, the number of famous men who proudly them is a who’s who of
talent, including Axl Rose of Guns ‘N’ Roses, drummer Tommy Lee,
singer/musician Lenny Kravitz and Dave Navarro of the Red Hot Chili
Peppers.
You won’t see as many shields on the men, who tend to go for a
more streamlined, clean look for their nipple jewelry. For men, the
most popular looks are straight or curved barbells, usually in a
slightly smaller gauge than a woman’s nipple jewelry. Many men will
go up to a 10 or 8 gauge for their nipple jewelry, although starting
with a 16 gauge is always best for the initial piercing since the
skin of the areola is so sensitive, and is where the actual piercing
will go through on a male nipple piercing.
With more and more men getting nipple jewelry, you’re sure to see
more of it and hear more about it. This type of jewelry on men can
be just as erotic as it is on women, and in the future more and more
women may be asking their men to get nipple jewelry to add to
personal pleasure for both of them.
