Tongue barbells add a great new dimension to your body piercings, but they can also add a new flip to your personal life, too. There are plenty of great looking tongue barbells out there in styles from simple to funky, but the ones growing in popularity fastest are the vibrating tongue rings.

Vibrating tongue rings are really vibrating tongue barbells with an inaccurate name – the names are interchangeable. These unique little gadgets have a top ball that is sometimes round or, in some cases, oblong or oval that is on the top of the tongue. The bottom ball on these tongue barbells is a tiny battery, similar to a watch battery. When screwed into place, the final half turn will activate the vibrating action.

When you order a vibrating tongue ring, it will usually come with one or two batteries, so stock up by ordering a few extra batteries to have on hand. Look for cheap tongue rings by shopping around for sales, since the batteries make the vibrating models a little bit more expensive. Most of the time, you can find some great discounts just by taking the time to do some comparison shopping.
