Answering questions about female nipple piercing

Female nipple piercing has been around for centuries. It was
believed that piercing the nipple made women’s breasts fuller and
more attractive while also making the nipple more easily excitable.
Female nipple piercings were a type of fashion accessory, from the
fourteenth century onward.
Women today choose to pierce their nipples for similar reasons.
Many report feelings of heightened sexual sensitivity in the area
and it certainly provides a unique look. Women with smaller nipples
might also enjoy more prominent nipples after the piercing, though a
nipple will not stay fully erect just because of the piercing.
The piercing is located on a fairly sensitive part of the body,
and it’s natural for a woman to have concerns. How long does it take
to heal? Will a bra be irritating? Will you still be able to
breastfeed with a pierced nipple?
The healing process for pierced nipples is between two and eight
months. It depends on the size of your breasts – smaller breasts
heal more quickly – and how much irritation the nipples endure
during everyday motions. A clean bra that stays dry, like a sports
bra, will keep you comfortable. Women who plan on becoming mothers
will be able to breastfeed their children one day, though taking the
jewelry out during breastfeeding is a must.
Proper placement is important, especially to avoid the buildup of
scar tissue. A correct nipple piercing is performed at the bottom of
the nipple where it meets the areola. Looking at photos and reading
other women’s stories about getting a nipple piercing will help you
know what to expect both from the process and from the piercing
professional.
