The hardest part about getting an unusual body piercing is
getting others used to the idea, especially if they’re new to the
piercing scene. That’s why body piercing pictures are such a great
tool if you are thinking of getting some new body modifications and
you think the people in your life are going to freak out on you.
If you go to a website that has a body piercing gallery, you can
download or bookmark some pictures of body piercings that show exactly
what you plan to do and show others.
This will help in a couple of ways:
- It will help them understand that what you are doing isn’t as
unusual as they think, since plenty of other people have done it
and posted their own body piercing photographs.
- It will give them the opportunity to get used to the idea over
time because they can look at the pictures of pierced bodies again and
again.
- They can point out things they have questions about and have a
frank discussion with you about their concerns.

body piercing photos that you can use to introduce body piercing to others and explain
what it is you are thinking of doing. It’s a safe and
non-threatening way to open up discussions with them that could
really help them to understand where you’re coming from.
