Punk fashion and jewelry in today’s styles

Punk fashion has evolved from mohawked youths wearing safety pins
as accessories. Now you can buy punk jewelry and clothes from stores
in the mall and off the Internet. The do-it-yourself look is always
a classic when it comes to punk clothing, but there are other
sources that are viable options when it comes to creating your
style.
Hot Topic is one good site
for punk clothes. Your local mall might also have a Hot Topic store
as well. They have a lot of vintage-looking band t-shirts for punk
pioneers like the Ramones, Blondie, and Joan Jett, and they also
carry shirts for newer groups as well, like The Used and Alkaline
Trio.
Work shirts and clothes that appear to be distressed – maybe
asymmetrical or ripped – are also part of the punk style. Skirts
with uneven hemlines are popular. Tighter jeans, like those worn in
the 70’s and 80’s, can also be part of your punk look. Chain
wallets, belts with studs, and neckties look good, too.
Punk style also incorporates body jewelry.
Body Punks
has a huge selection of body jewelry, as well as band shirts,
accessories, and bags. Their body jewelry designs are unique, with
mushrooms, monsters, and interesting rhinestones. Punk rock came out
of fighting established norms and the status quo. Let your body
jewelry and piercings continue that idea.
Punk style is about rebellion. Your fashion sense can easily
speak about your beliefs when it comes to music and the punk
ideology with online shopping from stores like Hot Topic and Body
Punks.
